At Sustain Energy, we are focused on the installation of energy efficiency measures under the government ‘Help to Heat Scheme’ which is part of the Energy Company Obligation. These installations are usually fully funded under the scheme and we are able to use this funding to offer free installations to our customers.

Qualifying Benefits

You may be eligible for ECO finding if you live in private housing and receive one of the following benefits:

  • Child Tax Credit

  • Working Tax Credit

  • Universal Credit

  • Pension Guarantee Credit

  • Income Support

  • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)

  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)

If you claim Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit or Universal Credit your eligibility will depend on your income.

If you rent you must have the owner’s permission to do the work.

Energy efficiency measures

We currently are able to install the following measures:

  • Cavity Wall Insulation
  • Loft Insulation
  • Room in Roof Insulation (Attic insulation)
  • Oil and LPG Boilers (people on qualifying benefits)
  • Gas Boiler on Finance and able to pay (from £29.99 per month)
  • Solar PV and Battery Storage ( Finance and able to pay)

Areas we cover

We cover all areas within 80 miles of central Birmingham and are particularly interested in installing measures in areas which are off-grid with no gas supply.

Accreditations

We are proud to have achieved accreditation with the following governing authorities. We are Trustmark Registered (Reg Number – 15113)under the NICEIC to install the following measures. External Wall Insulation, Cavity Wall Insulation, Internal Wall Insulation, Gas Boilers, Heating Controls, Room in Roof Insulation and Electric Storage Heaters.

We have appropriate levels of Business Insurance with  Trade Direct Insurance. This covers £5m Public Liability and £10m Employers Liability.
We utilise the RICS Dispute Resolution Service as an alternative dispute resolution service.
